I Found Her

As promised I hit the charity shops yesterday and there she was in the window looking a bit lost. I share grandchildren with my sister and Poppy wants a doll that she can dress up. So I went in search for something suitable and there she was. How could I resist her, and such lovely hair and eyes. The eye lashes actually flutter. I paid just £2.00 for her - a real snip I thought. So today I have been busy making some little outfits. Take a look and see what you think. I have called her Dolly Dewdrop, but I am sure that Poppy will re-name her as soon as she sees her.

What a bargain (with hair to comb and style!). You MADE all those clothes? She will be in bliss!

She is lovely and I am sure Poppy will have hours of fun playing dress ups with her.

Little tip for detangling dolly hair...If you use Fabric Softner as a "leave in conditioner" while you comb, it will reduce frizzing...once you have fully rinsed the softner from Dolly's hair, sit her upright in your sink and douse her hair with boiling water...Let her sit and cool/dry before handling...This is a "reverse boil perm" and should leave her hair hanging nice and straight again.

Thnx for sharing
